Miquel Lozano

MiguelLozano, MD, PhD is Hematologist. He is currently Hemotherapy Section Head atthe department of Hemotherapy and Hemostasis of the Clínic University Hospital,and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Barcelona, inBarcelona, Spain. He is also President of the European Society forHemapheresis, European Regional Director of the ISBT Board and chair of theAABB Press Editorial Board. He has been scientific member of BEST Collaborativesince 2002.He is theauthor or co-author of over 200 papers, monographs and book chapters dealingwith topics related with Transfusion Medicine and Hemostasis. He has co-editedbooks for AABB Press about Globalization in Transfusion Medicine, BloodComponent Preparation and Platelet Transfusion Therapy.
