Russ Shepard began their work experience in 1992 at DUAL Incorporated as a Project Engineer. Russ then became a Program Manager before moving on to FlightSafety International in 1996, where they worked as a Program Manager for almost a year. From 1996 to 2010, Shepard worked at Aero Simulation, Inc. as a Senior Staff Engineer, providing technical assistance and serving as lead engineer on various Flight Simulator programs. Russ also managed proposals for the company. In 2011, Shepard was promoted to Director of Business Development at Aero Simulation, Inc., a role they held until 2014. Russ then returned to the company in 2017 as the Vice President of Business Development.
Russ Shepard attended Baker County High School from 1973 to 1974 and obtained a high school degree. Later, from 1987 to 1989, Russ Shepard pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of North Florida.
