Information Technology System Engineer at Aerospacelab

Christophe Hensotte has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Christophe started their career as an IT Technical Consultant at ACEC-OSI, where they were responsible for desktop and laptop configuration, help desk support, and system management. Christophe then worked as an IT Infrastructure Consultant at Vision IT Group, where they specialized in migration projects for Microsoft NT and Active Directory domains, Microsoft Exchange, and VMware. Christophe later joined GROUPE ONEPOINT / Vision IT Group as an IT Infrastructure Consultant, continuing their work on migration projects and infrastructure consulting. Christophe also worked as an IT Consultant and Team Leader at DEVOTEAM GUIDANCE S.A., where they focused on migration projects for the Office des Publications Officielles des Communautés Européennes (now the Office des Publications de l'Union Européenne), as well as Microsoft Exchange and VMware. Christophe then joined CHU UCL Namur as a System Manager, managing a server park consisting of physical (HP) and virtual (Windows Server and VMware ESXi) servers. After that, they worked as a Senior System Engineer at Brussels South Charleroi Airport. At CHU UCL Namur, Christophe held the role of System Manager, overseeing a server park of 270 servers across three sites. Currently, they are working as an Information Technology System Engineer at Aerospacelab, and they recently completed a role as a Project Manager at Uptime ICT.

Christophe Hensotte's education history includes several certifications and degrees in various fields. In 2014, they attended HP Education where they obtained a degree in Managing HP 3PAR StoreServ 1. In 2016, they enrolled in One Management and pursued a degree called AXE 2, focusing on understanding different managerial roles and promoting quality management. During the same year, they also completed a degree in AXE 1 at One Management, which emphasized self-awareness as a manager through the use of HBDI.

In 2012, Christophe participated in LEAN Management programs at CHU UCL Mont-Godinne in Dinant and gained experience through both a LEAN Management - Immersion course and a LEAN Management - Animateur course.

Continuing their education, in 2011, they attended ComputerLand and obtained a certification in SharePoint 2010. Similarly, in 2008, they received training from EMC² in EMC DiskXtender for Windows Installation, Configuration, and Management.

Additionally, Christophe Hensotte pursued personal education in music by teaching himself to play the guitar. Christophe started this autodidactic endeavor in 1992.

Looking towards the future, Christophe is scheduled to attend training courses at SCALITY in 2022 and 2023. Christophe will complete the Standard Operation Training - SCALITY RING in 2022 and the Advanced Operation Training - SCALITY RING in 2023.

In terms of additional certifications, Christophe holds a Microsoft Certified IT Pro - Enterprise Administrator Windows 2008 certification obtained in January 2011 from Microsoft. Christophe also obtained the ITIL v3 Foundation certification in October 2010 from EXIN and the Prince2 Foundation certification in September 2010 from APMG.
