Brian Young

Brian Young is a seasoned executive in the field of uncrewed systems, currently serving as Vice President of Loitering Munition Systems Growth & Strategy at AeroVironment since January 2012. Young has held various leadership roles within AeroVironment, including overseeing multi-national operations for Telerob and leading strategic initiatives in the development and management of small uncrewed aircraft systems (SUAS). Prior to AeroVironment, Young gained extensive experience at Lockheed Martin, managing production, logistics, and business development for small and tactical UAVs, while also contributing to significant missile defense projects. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Telecommunications and Network Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Entrepreneurial Business from Iowa State University.
