Bryan Morrisey

Bryan Morrisey is an experienced engineering professional specializing in autonomy and aerospace engineering. Currently serving as the Engineering Director for Autonomy at AeroVironment since September 2009, Bryan leads a team focused on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to enhance robotic systems for defense and commercial applications. Previous roles at AeroVironment include Product Line Manager, Test Engineer, Aeronautical Engineer, and Systems Engineer, where Bryan developed innovative solutions and improved flight test processes. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Lecturer in Aerospace Engineering at Cal Poly State University and as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where Bryan contributed to the design of submarine-launched ballistic missile systems. Bryan holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
