Lee Sommerville

Lee Sommerville is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer (Embedded) at AeroVironment since November 2021, Lee contributes to the development of advanced robotic systems. Prior to this, Lee worked as a Software Architect at Mason Controls from 2012 to November 2021, where responsibilities included designing equipment for the aeronautics industry. Earlier roles include positions such as Senior System Architect at Universal Electronics, Senior Design Engineer at Ronan Engineering and VTL Group, and Development Engineer at Electronic Data Manufacturing Ltd. Lee holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
