Alvaro Garcia Delgado

Alvaro Garcia Delgado is an experienced electrical engineer specializing in power systems and energy management. Currently serving as an Ingeniero Centro de Control at AES Andes S.A since January 2010, Alvaro is responsible for dynamic and economic real-time operations of the National Electric System, overseeing power flow distribution and energy transfers. Previously, Alvaro held roles at Enel Chile and TecnoRed S.A, where responsibilities included project engineering, network inspection, and technical office management. Alvaro holds a degree in Electric Engineering with a focus on power from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria, and has furthered expertise through diplomas in labor practices management and electric energy regulation, as well as a recent specialization in green hydrogen from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
