Jourdan Labonte

Jourdan Labonte, P.E., M.Eng., is a seasoned geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in renewable energy projects. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer and Geotechnical Subject Matter Expert at The AES Corporation since October 2022, Jourdan provides expert guidance on geotechnical issues for AES Clean Energy. Previously, Jourdan worked as a Project Manager and Geotechnical Engineer at RRC Companies, overseeing investigations and analyses for renewable energy projects. Prior roles include Geotechnical Engineer positions at GRL Engineers, Thurber Engineering, and various engineering support roles at Enbridge and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. Jourdan holds a Master of Engineering in Geotechnical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta.
