Michael Harrell

Michael Harrell has extensive experience in the power generation sector, currently serving as the Engineering and Technical Services Manager and Principal Engineer at The AES Corporation since December 1988. Key responsibilities include providing technical support for 13 GW of generation across 18 locations in the U.S. Previously, Michael has held various leadership roles at J.M. Stuart Station, including Plant Manager, Operations Manager, and Engineering Manager, overseeing significant coal-fired power plant operations. Earlier career experience includes positions as a Design Engineer at Hendon-Lurie and Associates and a Co-op Engineer at Schindler Elevator Corporation. Michael holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Xavier University and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
