Sean Murphy

Sean Murphy is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience at The AES Corporation since September 2019, currently serving as Sr. Commissioning Superintendent focused on PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems. Previous roles include O&M Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region, responsible for maintenance and operational readiness of nearly 1 GW of generation facilities, and Team Leader for PV + BESS O&M, where leadership was emphasized in achieving carbon-free energy goals. Prior to AES, Sean held various positions in electrical operations, including Journeyman Wireman at IBEW Local 99 and Electrician roles at K Electric Inc and SolBright Renewable Energy, where expertise in commissioning and maintenance of photovoltaic systems was developed.
