Ben also has a significant tenure at Tesla, where they held multiple roles such as Sr. Staff - Plant Operations Engineering and Commissioning Management, Sr. Electrical Commissioning Manager, Facilities Operations Engineering Lead, and Staff Facilities Engineer - Giga Nevada, from 2018 to 2022. Before Tesla, Ben worked as a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer at Colonial Pipeline Company from 2013 to 2018, as an Electrical Engineer at Ambitech Engineering from 2011 to 2013, and as an Electrical Engineering Consultant at Alquimi Solar, among other roles in various companies. Ben began their career as a Service Department Assistant Manager at East Sun Electronics in 2004.
Ben Farakish holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Global Business from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Azad University (IAU) in 2008. In addition to their formal education, Ben has also obtained various certifications in fields such as Construction Management, Project Management, Leadership, and Engineering, between 2014 and 2019.
