Joel Placito

Joel Placito has extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as Chief Engineer for Space & Defense Product Groups at Aethercomm since September 2009, where Joel has held various leadership positions including Principal Mechanical Engineer and Director of Mechanical Engineering. Prior to Aethercomm, Joel worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Saab Sensis Corporation and as a Product Development Engineer at Eaton Crouse-Hinds. Joel began their career as a Thermal Engineer at Niagara Thermal Products. Educationally, Joel holds a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
