Julian Girard

Julian Girard is a Senior Optical Systems Engineer at Aeva since January 2022, also previously serving as an Optical Test and Characterization Engineer. Prior to this role, Julian gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University from August 2015 to April 2021, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan in May 2014 and the University of Rochester from May 2013 to May 2014. Julian earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University between 2017 and 2021, a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 2015-2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Siena College from 2011 to 2015.
