Jon Martin is the Chief Executive Officer of AEW Capital Management, North America. He has overall responsibility for AEW’s strategic business goals and day-to-day operations. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Risk Management Committee.
Prior to assuming his role as COO in early 2017, he was a Portfolio Manager for the AEW's U.S. Core Strategy. Mr. Martin has over 26 years of real estate experience and has been with AEW since 2001. Prior to joining AEW, he worked for ten years as a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where he was an auditor and financial consultant specializing in the real estate and mortgage banking industries.
He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.A.) in Finance and Accounting.
