Elaine W.

Elaine W. is a highly skilled Sensor Software Systems Engineer at AEye, Inc. since 2018, where responsibilities include testing and verifying LiDAR systems, developing debugging pipelines, and ensuring the performance of MEMS sensors to advance self-driving technology. Previously, Elaine worked at Aurora as a Software Operations & QA Associate, focusing on quality assurance and optimizing workflows for self-driving operations, and as an experimental researcher at USC Viterbi School of Engineering, where Elaine developed experimental designs in robotics. Additional experience includes serving as a teaching assistant and technical consultant at USC, and interning in various engineering roles with organizations such as SANDAG and UC San Diego. Elaine holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Vehicle Systems & Robotics from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering with an emphasis on Energy Systems & Modeling from UC San Diego.
