James Jung

James Jung is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware and development engineering, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Hardware Engineering at AEye, Inc. since April 2017. Prior to this role, James held various leadership positions within AEye, including Senior Director and Head of Development Engineering. With a strong background in MEMS technology, James has also contributed to Argonne National Laboratory as a Scientist and Assistant Scientist from October 2009 to March 2017, and has research experience from Stanford University, where James earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering. James's academic and professional journey includes numerous roles such as Research Associate, Postdoctoral Scholar, and Research Assistant at Stanford, demonstrating a deep commitment to engineering and technology innovation.
