AFC Bournemouth are a professional football club, formed in 1899, currently playing in the Premier League – the top tier of English Football. They are based at Vitality Stadium. The club are known as the Cherries and, as well as the men’s first team, also have a women’s team, an under-21s and an under-18s side.
