Jatin Govind, CA, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jatin started their career in 2008 as a Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Staff Accountant at BDO Canada. In 2013, they joined Rubicon Oilfield International as a Division Accounting Manager and later became the Canadian Controller from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Jatin is working at AFD Petroleum Ltd. as the Controller, and starting from 2023, they assumed the role of Director of Financial Reporting and Taxation.
Jatin Govind, CA, CPA, completed their education at the CA School of Business from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from the University of Alberta, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Jatin also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biological and Physical Sciences from the University of Alberta, which they acquired from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have been certified as a Chartered Accountant by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.
