Teng Wei Lim (Thomas) has an extensive background in the field of information security and technology management. Teng Wei recently served as the Group Chief Information Security Officer at Affin Bank Group, where they were responsible for establishing and maintaining the group's Technology Risk Management Framework and Cyber Resilience Framework. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of IT Security at Great Eastern Malaysia. Teng also has experience in the financial sector, having worked as a Director at CIMB Investment Bank and as a Project Manager at Maybank Malaysia. Teng Wei has a strong track record of successfully managing projects and implementing core banking data warehouse systems. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager at Silverlake System Sdn Bhd and eBaoTech Corporation, where they oversaw various project activities and managed project resources. Teng began their career as a Technical Training Specialist at Prudential Services Asia Sdn Bhd, where they developed training materials and provided training to staff across Asia. Teng Wei also gained experience as a System Analyst and Web Master at Hong Leong Assurance Berhad and as a Management of Information System (M.I.S) Officer at Banguan Garment Manufacturing (M) Sdn. Teng Wei Lim (Thomas) completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Management & Finance from Flinders University between 1996 and 1998. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Information System & General Major from the University of Southern Queensland, which they successfully completed between 2006 and 2011.
