Don Fye is an accomplished senior engineering professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and technology development. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Specialist at AWCC since 2002, Don also holds the position of Principal at Fye Associates, a consulting firm focused on telecommunications technology and business development, which has been operational since January 2001. Prior experience includes key roles as Director of Technology Development at GTE Wireless and AVP of Network Engineering and Construction at GTE Mobilnet. Don's career began at GTE Laboratories, where notable contributions were made as Department Manager of Mobile Systems/Transmission Systems and in various technical capacities. Don Fye earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Science from Brown University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
