Jorge Barreda is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in finance and business management. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at AFP HABITAT since May 2018 and holding the position of Managing Shareholder & CEO at SOLID Equipment Solutions since March 2014, Jorge has significantly contributed to the equipment rental and general solutions sector for various industries in Peru. Previously, Jorge held board positions at Banco de la Nación and co-founded SinoLatin Capital, an investment advisory firm. With a strong background in investment banking at UBS Investment Bank and Deutsche Bank, as well as early experience as a Junior Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru, Jorge holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a Master's in Economics and Finance from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
