Abdulkareem Salami

Abdulkareem Salami, CTP, has extensive experience in treasury operations, currently serving as Senior Manager (Treasury Back Office Operations) at African Export-Import Bank since December 2016. Prior to this role, Abdulkareem held the position of Head, Treasury Operations at Access Bank Plc, leading a team in the settlement of securities and foreign exchange transactions. Abdulkareem's earlier experience includes work at Zenith Bank Plc and Guaranty Trust Bank, where responsibilities involved supervising back office staff, ensuring compliance, and managing treasury risk. Abdulkareem holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Lagos and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ilorin, complemented by a Middle Management Program certificate from The Wharton School.
