Joumana Magdi Ahmed

Joumana Magdi Ahmed is an experienced professional in the finance sector, currently serving as Associate Treasury & Markets at the African Export-Import Bank since September 2021, where responsibilities include managing ALCO meetings, data collection, and monitoring the Debt Portfolio. Previously, Joumana held roles at CIB Egypt as a Market Risk Senior Analyst and Market Risk Analyst, focusing on ALCO reports and market risk assessments. Early experience includes positions as an Economic Researcher at the Egyptian Banking Institute, conducting financial research, and as a Junior Project Officer at UNAIDS, contributing to data analysis on HIV expenditure in Egypt. Joumana holds a Master of Science in Economics & Public Policies of Development and two Bachelor's degrees in Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and Cairo University.
