Damilare Asimiyu

Damilare Asimiyu currently serves as the Head of Investment Research at Afrinvest West Africa, a position held since April 2021, focusing on optimizing the investment research department's operations and aiding clients in informed decision-making. Prior to this, Damilare worked as a Macroeconomic Strategist and Senior Analyst, delivering tailored analysis on macroeconomic variables and financial markets. Experience also includes roles in corporate planning at Unity Bank Plc, head of research and strategy at GTI Investment Group, and editorial analysis at BusinessDay Media Ltd. Damilare began an academic career teaching at various institutions, following a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University.
