Frida Persson

Frida Persson is a process engineer at AFRY, specializing in the Food & Pharma sector since May 2024. Previously, Frida served as Chief Technology Officer at Mycorena AB from August 2019 to May 2024, overseeing the strategic development of fermentation processes and managing projects related to technology optimization. Frida also held the position of Head of Research & Quality, focusing on the development and upscaling of fermentation processes, as well as food safety and legislation. Early career experiences include roles as a consultant at Randstad, a research engineer at Mycorena, and a laboratory engineer at Borås Energi och Miljö AB, alongside academic involvement as a master thesis student at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. Frida holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Chalmers University of Technology, complemented by an upper secondary education in Science from Jensen gymnasium Borås.
