Naoko Kono

Naoko Kono, PhD, is an experienced professional in the fields of embedded software development and experimental physics. Currently serving as an Embedded Software Developer for Ericsson at AFRY since February 2022, Naoko has a strong background in education and research. Previous roles include positions as a Teacher Assistant and Substitute Teacher at Japanska Skolan, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stockholm University, focusing on atomic physics research involving the cryogenic electrostatic ion-beam storage ring, DESIREE. Naoko's academic journey includes earning a PhD in Physics, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's degree, all from Tokyo Metropolitan University, emphasizing atomic and molecular physics research. Additionally, Naoko has experience teaching undergraduate-level courses in various physics subjects and has collaborated with notable institutions such as RIKEN and has worked as a part-time lecturer at multiple universities.
