Charles Gill has extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Charles is currently serving as the Chief Transformation Officer at Arab Financial Services since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Network International as the Chief of Staff from November 2019 to March 2021. Charles also served as the Group COO at Groupe Baobab from January 2017 to December 2018. Charles has held various positions at Barclays Bank from September 1989 to June 2001, including Commercial Development Director in India and Scandinavia, General Manager of Barclaycard Africa, and various roles involving relationship management with Visa, MasterCard, and other payment schemes. Charles also worked as a Contractor at Visa from April 2010 to August 2011 and as a Retail Banking Director in Russia at Standard Bank from October 2007 to January 2010.
Charles Gill obtained a BA in History from The Open University from 1997 to 2004. Prior to that, they pursued an MA in Mathematics from the University of Oxford between 1986 and 1989.
