José Veras

José Veras is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in mobile and software development. Currently serving as Tech Manager at Afya since September 2021, José coordinates technical leaders to define strategies for achieving objectives and innovations. Previously, as Mobile Tech Lead at Afya, José led the mobile team for the Whitebook app, focusing on codebase scalability and process automation. José's career includes significant roles at Gazeus Games, where responsibilities included optimizing ad monetization and game integration platforms, and at Tecgraf/PUC-Rio, leading the Eplanlog project for Petrobras. With a Master's degree in Business Administration from FGV and a degree in Computer Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, José combines technical expertise with project management skills.
