Sezim Altynbek Kyzy

Sezim Altynbek Kyzy is an experienced communications professional based in Kyrgyzstan, currently serving as a Communications Specialist at the Aga Khan Development Network since July 2023. Previously, Sezim served as a Communications Officer and Program Assistant at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung from March 2021 to June 2023, focusing on content plan development and implementation. As a co-founder and Mental Health Trainer for the Village Girl Project from October 2018 to December 2022, Sezim empowered high-school girls in rural areas to become future leaders. Other notable experiences include roles as Project Assistant at the School of Data Kyrgyzstan, Executive Director at AUCA TV, and participation in the Global UGRAD Program. Sezim holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the American University of Central Asia and completed an exchange year in Writing and Communications at Maryville College.
