Maher Bassily

Maher Bassily has extensive experience in quality operations and assurance, currently serving as Director of Quality Operations at AGC Biologics since February 2022. Prior roles include Associate Director of Quality Operations at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Associate Director of Quality Assurance at Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc. Maher has also held senior managerial positions at Adamas Pharmaceuticals and Gilead Sciences, as well as key roles at CARACO PHARMACEUTICALS and Theravance. Beginning a career in quality control at Novopharm, Maher has built a robust background in biochemistry and public health, having earned both a Bachelor of Honours B.Sc. in Bio-Chemistry and a Master's degree in Public Health from Alexandria University.
