Lei Fang

Lei Fang, Ph.D., MBA, currently serves as Senior Manager of Technical Services & Customer Solutions at AgCertain Industries, Inc. since June 2019, where responsibilities include leading R&D projects focused on process formula design for specialty vegetable oils and supervising Quality Control Laboratories. Prior experience includes a role as Quality Control Manager at KemX Global, managing quality control for vegetable oils and USP glycerin, and serving as a Research Assistant at Iowa State University, where contributions involved applying new technologies in the corn ethanol fermentation industry. Additionally, Lei Fang held the position of Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri, providing support in laboratory settings for food science students. Educational background includes an MBA from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, a Ph.D. in lipid chemistry and fermentation technology from Iowa State University, a Master of Science in food science from the University of Missouri, and a Bachelor of Science in food science from Qingdao Agricultural University.
