Paolo Turcato has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in the fields of electrical/electronic validation and software development. Currently serving as the Department Lead for Engineering at AGCO Corporation since September 2009, Paolo manages a global team across four AGCO sites focused on software validation for AGCO's Harvesting platform, including defining objectives, budgeting, and recruiting. Previously, from 2013 to 2021, Paolo held the position of Electronic and Software Engineer, where responsibilities included defining software requirements for the IDEAL combine platform's hydraulic components. Prior to AGCO, Paolo worked as a Junior Software Engineer at SMIT TEXTILE, focusing on safety-related analysis and C software development for textile loom machinery. Paolo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova and an Electrotechnic and Automation degree from Istituto Tecnico Industriale "S. de Pretto."
