David Pett started their work experience as a Financial Advisor at TD Canada Trust in 1996 and worked there until 2006. David then joined the National Post as an Investing Reporter in December 2006 and stayed there until August 2015. In September 2015, they joined BlackRock Inc. as a VP, Sponsored Content and Media Partnerships and worked there until January 2018. Currently, they are working as a Director of Investment Communications at AGF Investments Inc. starting from January 2018.
David Pett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Ryerson University in 2006. David also holds a Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, which they obtained in 1994. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial and Economic Studies at Western University in 1993. In addition, David has a certification as a Professional Financial Planner from the Canadian Securities Institute, which they obtained in 2001.
