Steve Hernandez Mejia

Steve Hernandez Mejia is a skilled cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in both defensive operations and information security support. Currently serving as a Cyber Threat Hunter and Security Analyst at Agile Defense, Inc. since July 2022, Steve leads initiatives to enhance security posture through continuous monitoring and optimization of cybersecurity systems. Additionally, Steve is a licensed Real Estate Agent with Real Broker LLC. Prior experience includes serving as a Cyber Security Liaison at Alion Science and Technology, where effective communication and policy development protected sensitive data for government personnel. Steve's foundational training in cybersecurity was gained at Microsoft Software & Systems Academy, and previous military service as a Senior IT Manager in the United States Marine Corps involved managing complex IT operations and mentoring personnel. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University.
