Monica Ugwi currently serves as the General Manager for Copilot and Agents in the Manufacturing and Mobility sectors at Microsoft, a position held since 2023. Additionally, Monica is an Advisory Board Member at Agile Loop and an early investor at turbopuffer. From 2022 to 2024, Monica contributed as the former Advisor and VP, Head of Product, UX, and Docs at RudderStack, focusing on developing a next-generation customer data platform. At Shopify, from 2019 to 2022, Monica held dual roles as Director, Head of Product for Search & Discovery and Data Residency, collaborating with the founder and CEO on strategic initiatives. In 2019, Monica worked at Google as a Product Leader for the Family Identity Platform and previously at Facebook as Product Lead, overseeing major AI/ML initiatives. Monica’s experience also includes a tenure as Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and a Software Engineer role at Goldman Sachs, where significant advancements in high-frequency trading technology were made. Monica holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA with honors in Computer Science from Grinnell College.
