Mr. Lam is Vice President, Treasury. Prior to his appointment, he held the role of Corporate Director, Treasurer where he helped develop and grow Agnico Eagle’s treasury and financial risk management strategy and has also held the role of Mine Controller at the Meadowbank Mine since joining in 2007. Mr. Lam is a seasoned finance professional bringing nearly 20 years of experience in treasury and corporate finance, financial reporting and planning and operations finance, with 15 of those years within the mining industry. Prior to joining Agnico Eagle, he held finance positions with leading diamond mining and global consumer packaged goods companies. Mr. Lam is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA).
