Chris Love is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in process and manufacturing engineering across several prestigious companies. Currently serving as the VP of Global Process Engineering at Agratas since January 2024, Chris leads the development of Gigafactories for TATA Group's battery manufacturing ventures in the UK and India. Previously, Chris held various significant roles at Jaguar Land Rover from 2016 to 2024, including Senior Process Engineering Manager for Tata Group Battery Programmes and Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager overseeing a large team. Earlier experience includes managing manufacturing engineering at Rolls-Royce and operational leadership at First Water Limited. Chris holds an MSc in Operations Excellence from Cranfield University and a degree in Business Administration & Politics from Keele University.

Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. We design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries applied to multiple use cases in the mobility and energy sectors, to match our customers’ requirements. They provide us with the scale to establish our global battery business. Agratas will be driven by our pursuit of green growth and technological progress. We will develop next-generation battery technologies at new R&D Innovation Hubs in India and the UK, collaborating with world-leading universities, research institutions and strategic partners. We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality. Our name, derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Agra’, the world’s oldest language, stands for leadership.
