Ruel Amparo

Ruel Amparo serves as the President of Agrilever, a leading Digital Transformation Platform for Smallholder Farmers in the Philippines, since December 2022. Prior to this role, Ruel founded and served as the CEO of Cropital from November 2015 to March 2024; the platform focuses on social impact investment to finance local Filipino farmers sustainably. Ruel's earlier experience includes positions as an Account Sales Executive at Petron Corporation, a Research Assistant at The Boston Consulting Group, a Finance Intern at Shell, and a Logistics Intern at Integrated Microelectronics Inc. Ruel's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Philippines Diliman, a Food & Climate Shaper Bootcamp in Climate-Smart Agriculture from the Future Food Institute & FAO’s Learning Academy, and participation in the Entrepreneurship Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management.
