Geert Kuipers

Geert Kuipers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management, entrepreneurship, and consultancy within the agricultural and food sectors. Currently serving as Program Manager at Vereniging FlevoFood since May 2019, Geert has facilitated collaboration among food businesses during Floriade 2022. As an entrepreneur and advisor at MRGN, Geert supports existing businesses and startups in developing new revenue models and addressing financial challenges. Geert co-founded Entoprise Insectfarms to guide entrepreneurs in establishing insect farms and has held key roles as Treasurer at AgriPlace and Kwartiermaker Voedsel en Groen at Noordelijk Innovatielab Circulaire Economie. Previous positions include Program Manager for the Agri & Food innovation cluster and significant contributions to Countus accountants + adviseurs, where various team leadership and advisory roles were undertaken. Geert holds a master's degree in economics from Wageningen University & Research and trained as a fiscal advisor.
