Celia Vincent

Celia Vincent is a skilled professional in plant physiology and food safety, currently serving as Head of Product at Agrow since January 2024. Celia's previous role as R&D Manager at BROTALIC involved leading an innovation project focused on microgreens growth, quality, and food safety in hydroponics, alongside tasks related to HACCP standards. Academic accomplishments include a PhD in Plant Physiology from Universitat de Barcelona, with research on the postharvest life of climacteric fruit and hormonal responses in avocados. Additional expertise encompasses experience in developing commercial products to enhance polyphenol content in grapes and mitigate sunburn in apples, as well as authoring various theses on nutrition and plant responses. Further education includes a forthcoming Master’s in Data Sciences and AI, along with degrees in food development and biotechnology from Universitat de Barcelona.
