Jon Aksel Svensson

Jon Aksel Svensson has extensive experience in finance and project controlling, serving in various leadership roles at Aibel since March 2004, including VP of Business & Project Controlling with responsibility for a department of approximately 35 controllers. Key achievements include managing the monthly management reporting and quarterly forecasts for the Aibel Group and leading a comprehensive reorganization of the finance organization as Group Finance Manager. Additionally, Jon has held positions such as Group Business Controller and Head of Business Control, contributing to the strategic development of the finance function within the company. Prior to Aibel, Jon gained experience in financial management consulting with Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, and began a career in business management at Bertel O. Steen AS. Jon holds multiple degrees, including a Master in Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Siviløkonom in Finance & Strategy from the Norwegian School of Economics.
