Peter Chege is a technology advocate with a strong focus on making a positive societal impact through innovation. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at AiCare since September 2022, Peter utilizes telematics and artificial intelligence to enhance road safety in Kenya. Previously, as Lead Software Developer at APA Insurance Limited from February 2019 to September 2022, Peter led the development of digital solutions for underwriting and claims processes. Additionally, Peter held key roles as Senior Software Engineer and Technical Support Specialist at Speech Therapy Totos, where an online learning platform for children with autism was developed, and as Co-Founder & Director at VINE HUB, a software development and marketing company. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from freeCodeCamp and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
