Darren Trigonoplos is a seasoned public policy and government affairs professional with extensive experience in federal legislative strategy and political engagement. Currently serving as Vice President & Head of Federal Government Affairs at AIG since April 2010, Darren has been instrumental in shaping the company's public policy initiatives in Washington, D.C., and successfully rebuilt the federal Government Affairs team to secure crucial legislative reforms. Prior to AIG, Darren held significant roles at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, providing counsel on public affairs for corporations and multinational entities, as well as serving as an Independent Consultant in trade and investment policy. With an early background as a Senior Associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. Senate, Darren offers a robust blend of legal expertise and strategic advisory capabilities, bolstered by a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Politics from Washington and Lee University.
