Greg Cole has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and medical devices. Greg has held roles such as Vice President at Neuron Robotics LLC, Member of Research Staff at Philips Healthcare, and President at Medical Motion Corporation, where they co-founded a medical robotic hardware company. Greg also served as a Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and held various positions at ABB, including R&D Project Manager, Principal Scientist, and Principal Research Scientist. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at AiM Medical Robotics. Greg has also shared their expertise as an Adjunct Teaching Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Greg Cole completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2001 to 2012. Greg also participated in the Emerging Leaders Program at The Wharton School in 2017-2018. In addition, they obtained certifications in Machine Learning and various project management courses from Coursera between 2016 and 2018.

AiM Medical Robotics is a neurosurgical robotics company that is working to bring high levels of precision, automation, and efficiency to the surgical suite by introducing portable MRI-functional robotics into the complex surgical environment of neurosurgery. They are developing a portable neurosurgical robot for use in the MRI scanner. Their mission is to improve outcomes for patients undergoing neurosurgery for functional brain disorders (Parkinson’s, Epilepsy, etc.) and Glioblastoma while providing cost savings to hospitals by eliminating error and reducing procedure time by up to 50%.
