Dr. Jonathan Sackier is a physician entrepreneur with a diverse background including clinical practice, academic work, and education. He is the current Chief Medical Officer of Helios Medical Technologies, a medical technology company offering a revolutionary, non-invasive device for neuro. He was also a Founding Partner and Director of Computer Motion, which built the world’s first surgical robot (AESOP) which then eventually merged into Intuitive Surgical to become the largest surgical robotics company in the world. Dr. Sackier has also served as a Visiting Professor at Oxford University and as a Professor at George Washington University.
Dr. Sackier holds an Mb,ChB, Medicine from Liverpool University and completed fellowships with both the Royal College of Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
