Barbara Banas

Barbara Banas is a seasoned professional in procurement and strategic sourcing with extensive experience in various leadership roles across the hospitality and fleet management sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Procurement Strategy & Performance at Aimbridge Hospitality since 2023, Banas previously held the position of Sr. Director of Strategic Sourcing at Wheels - Donlen - LeasePlan Corp from 2018 to 2023. Prior to that, Banas worked at Element Fleet Management as the Strategic Alliances & Sourcing Leader from 2012 to 2018, and at TTX Company as the Director of Operational Excellence from 2009 to 2012. Banas also gained valuable experience as a Senior Consultant while working independently from 2007 to 2009. Academic credentials include an MBA from Northern Illinois University, a Ph.D. in Graduate Studies in Statistical Process Control, and Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, along with a BS in Chemical Engineering and an AS in Chemical Engineering & Mathematics from Moraine Valley Community College.
