Brent Baxter

Brent Baxter, CPA, serves as Vice President Global Tax at Aimbridge Hospitality, overseeing corporate tax and international governance for the largest independent hotel operator, which includes over 1,400 properties globally. As a Board Observer and seed investor in Engrain, Brent contributes to a leading SaaS provider in mapping technology. Previously, Brent held significant roles, including Senior Director of Tax at Invitation Homes, where Brent established the Tax Department, and Tax Director at CyrusOne, leading its tax operations. Additional experience includes Fund Tax Manager at Hudson Advisors, where Brent managed tax and accounting for real estate private equity funds, and Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, focusing on tax consulting and compliance. Brent holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Texas McCombs School of Business.
