Philip Smith

Philip Smith is an experienced hospitality professional currently serving as the Regional Vice President of Operations at Aimbridge Hospitality since October 2019, following the merger of Aimbridge Hospitality and Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Prior to this role, Philip held the position of Vice President Operations at Interstate Hotels & Resorts for nearly a year. With a solid background in managing hotel operations, Philip has also served as Regional Vice President at Island Hospitality Management, where oversight included 16 hotels in the Mid-Atlantic region. Early in the career, Philip held various management roles at Marriott International and Courtyard by Marriott, showcasing expertise in asset management, revenue strategy, and guest satisfaction. Philip holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Administration from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from North Carolina State University.
