Stephen Kinsey

Stephen Kinsey, CFA, CBV, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in real estate investment management. Currently serving as Director and Portfolio Manager of Real Estate at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since March 2021, Stephen previously held the position of Managing Director of Real Estate at Alberta Teachers' Retirement Fund Board from March 2019 to February 2021. Stephen's career at Alberta Teachers' Retirement Fund Board began in May 2014, progressing through various roles including Director, Senior Associate, and Associate in Real Estate. Prior experience includes serving as Manager of Corporate Finance and Analyst at Deloitte Canada from February 2011 to May 2014 and an Investment Representative at TD Waterhouse from July 2006 to October 2010. Stephen's educational background includes an MBA in Investment Management from Concordia University, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Alberta, and the Chartered Business Valuator designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.
