AIP is an investment manager dedicated to advising institutional investors on direct investments into energy and infrastructure assets in Europe and the US which provide essential services and benefits to society. AIP was originally established as part of PKA AIP in 2012 but was spun out in 2018. Today, the team consists of 37 dedicated professionals with extensive investment experience. To date, AIP has invested more than EUR 3 billion and the target for the coming years is to invest more than EUR 600 million per year. AIP’s investors include the Danish pension funds PKA and Pensam. The PKA funds consist of four Danish funds administered by PKA A/S with more than EUR 37 billion in assets under management and approximately 300,000 members including nurses, medical secretaries, social pedagogues, and pharmacologists. Pensam is a Danish labour-market pension fund managing occupational schemes for people within elder care, cleaning, technical service, and pedagogical care in Danish municipalities, regions, and private companies.
